Try them out. I recommend Thievery Corporation to EVERYONE. It has very nice down tempo beats. you won't be disappointed. =)
Another excellent lounge mix from Thievery. Mellow and groovy, with an eclectic mix of world wide tunes, capturing their classic vibe.
If it's better some of their others I'm just not sure since I've only heard this one and MC. Got hooked on TC from the Mirror Conspiracy album as I'm sure many others can attest.it left me wanting more and I did some research to see which other album was most similar to MC.decided on DJ Kicks and was satisfied with the album but not blown away by it. It is a GOOD CD.don't get me wrong and worth the buy. MC is a classic and a must buy.this one is worth the buy if you're a fan already. The tracks just aren't as catchy or subliminal as other discs in this genre.
I purchased this based on reviews I just so happened to read.And i'm glad I did. It is the type of cd you pop in the player when you are having a small party. It grooves and flows well.=)
There is nothing to say here that a 5 Star reviewer has not said before. It's the best effort in a commendable series (DJ-Kicks)and stands atop the always worthy Thievery Catalog. It is also the most electronic of the compilations and creations they have assembled.
